In a country where we have valued freedom for hundreds of years, Forced Sunday Sacredness – Say No, might seem like an interesting title for a book. In the same country where we have also valued free choice in how we worship or not worship at all, this subject may equally appear very intriguing.
As we delve deeper into this subject, I invite you, the reader, to question and challenge what is happening around us.
I appreciate you may keep Sunday sacred out of free will, or you may think that Sunday is the same as any other day of the week. This is your decision. But in this book, we are looking at forced Sunday sacredness and how wrong this is. Whether we consciously know we are being forced or if we are being forced by stealth then this needs to be examined.
What is happening today?
In the first chapter, we will be examining what is happening today. Some things we may already know and some will become apparent as we read further.
Change in the printed Calendar
Depending on where we live in the world and for those of us who are older we will see that our calendars have changed. This happened gradually and slowly over time, starting in the latter part of the 1900s.
Learning from History
What we see happening today is a mere repeat of what the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great implemented so many years ago. If only we had learned from the past, the future would be so much easier.
God’s True Sabbath
We are given FREE choice on how or if we choose to worship God. We all need to make a conscious choice without force, coercion, or any other tactics.
